Revitalizing Care: The HeartMath System for Building Resilience while Transforming Stress
Whether you are a health professional or family care-giver, you know that the stresses of caring for others can stretch your capacity, test your patience, and drain your energy. You have probably also seen the effect stress can have on healing and recovery for those you care for. For nearly twenty years, HeartMath has been dedicated to creating research-based tools and technologies to improve health, performance and well-being at home and in the workplace. Less stress, increased resilience, enhanced self-care, and improved emotional self-regulation are common outcomes. HeartMath’s research-based approach has resulted in more than 60 research publications, and has gained them an international following of tens of thousands of health professionals and care-givers who have experienced the stress-reducing benefits of HeartMath both for themselves as well as for their patients and family members.
In this program you will learn the key elements that are the foundation of HeartMath’s effectiveness:
1) simple heart-based techniques that can be used in the moment to prevent, reduce and recover from stress, and
2) powerful feedback technology to accelerate the development of your new skills.
3) HeartMath’s award-winning emWave technologies will be featured in Revitalizing Care, giving participants a hands-on experience of the power of the heart to create resilience and boost their own self-care.

Pronto Seminars
PRONTO SEMINARS organizes and hosts continuing education (CE and CME) workshops and retreats in Italy. Distinguished faculty, participants and their families come from all over the world to enjoy high quality experiential content at a relaxed pace. We provide an affordable way to combine work, travel and relaxation.
Our classes are small and designed so that your afternoons and evenings are free to wander through the countryside, have a wonderful meal, or visit a museum. Our participants tell us that learning in this environment, at a relaxed pace, allows for a full integration of new material and practices.
We are known for creating an intimate setting where presenters are available in a less formal way and where colleagues from around the globe become friends and get to know each other while enjoying the delights of Italy. This model provides a contrast to large conferences, and our participants have encouraged us to continue in this direction.
In September 2012 we are looking forward to enjoying Tuscany and Umbria! Our venues are nestled in the hills, "off the beaten path", yet only 15 minutes by car from historic centers.
English is the main language of our workshops. Space is limited.
